Baltimore looking to move up.

Ravens looking to move up… While most teams around the league appear to be far more interested in moving down in next week’s draft, Baltimore reportedly has their eyes on one of the top WRs and would be willing to move up from the 22nd spot overall to get their man. The Ravens are said to be particularly interested in Southern Cal WR Mike Williams, but would have to move up to close to the top 10 - at least – to get him. If Williams turns out to out of reach, Oklahoma WR Mark Clayton may be the Ravens’ fallback target at receiver; Clayton, though, is likely to go in the top 20 so Baltimore would still be forced to move up at least a few spots. Like just about every team in the league, though, the Ravens are leaving their options open and would also be willing to move down. And failing to get a top WR, they could look to upgrade at DE to smooth the transition to a 4-3 base defense. Indeed, the Ravens have had DE prospects David Pollack of Georgia, Matt Roth of Iowa and Oklahoma’s Dan Cody in for visits in recent days.

Chiefs could trade down 7 spots & pickup the Ravens 2nd round pick(53). It would be in the Chiefs favor by 100pts but the Chiefs could throw in one of their 5th round picks to even it up.

Cause we need the pic so we can get Marlin Jackson in round 1 or Daryl Blackstock, and get a CB or LB in round 2 and be able to trade our pick to MIAMI for Surtain.

Dude, you have compared Derrick Johnson to Kawika Mitchell and Daryl Blackstock to Derrick Thomas in the same week.

Assuming there was nobody I liked available at 15, I'd be all for trading down a few spots to gain a pick to trade to Miami.

Jackson has nagging injury problems, and Blaystock is a one dimensional 3-4 rushbacker.

KC can still obtain Surtain with this years 4th and next years 2nd or 3rd round pick. I say this, because Carl has only offered the 4th

No way! I don't care we need a first round pick we need one top draft pick not 2 second rounders or any lower. I'm tired of us not taking advantage of players when they are available we need to trade up not trade down.

If it gives us an extra 2nd that makes the whole Surtain deal very real.
7 draft spots won't make that biggashit, a probowl corner will.

At least in this season.
