The niners were one of the worst teams on third down last year. We still weren't much better with Kaep, but I digress. The niners beat the Jets 34-0 last year and Alex had 125 yards passing. Being risk averse is great when you're winning and you don't need your QB to make any plays. The rub is, the cupboard is damn near bare in KC. You're gonna need a guy to make something out of nothing. You're going to need a guy that takes risks. I don't think Smitty is that guy. But I felt like too many times in the last two years, when we needed Alex to make a play, it just wasn't there. (Obviously not counting the Saints game, he played like a MASTER in that game) |

Well I just saw him throw a pick for the Cowgirls so that came to mind. I never did like Kyle Orton but why is it he could do more with this same WRs?

He's a very efficient qb until red zone. But you have to admit your wrs are weak outside of Bowe.

Of course they're terrible, but Bowe is far and away the best WR in our division and nobody will get him the ****ing ball. It's a shame really, and I wouldn't have blamed him for not signing with us. I guess no one told him about Alex Smith.

Hey! If you click the title "Air Yds" atop the 6th column, Alex falls to #32, and guess who's name is right above Alex?
Spoiler!

I have zero to say to you. Ill readily admit that Alex Smith sucked last night. But, it is preseason. Stop pretending I have ever said Alex Smith was some god as a qb. He is a game manager at best. Piss off.
