I have impossible decisions to make. Help.

I am in the finals in my big money league.

Here are the decisions I'm trying to make. They're extremely difficult at all three levels, which is a big deal because I am a big time underdog.

1 QB

Andrew Luck @ KC
Aaron Rodgers (if he plays) vs PIT

The classic decision between the known quantity and the boom-bust prospect.

3 WR

Dez Bryant @ WAS
Antonio Brown @ GB
Alshon Jeffery @ PHI
Keenan Allen vs OAK

Four extremely good options. Which one do I bench? I'm thinking Allen.

2 RB

Ray Rice vs NE
Giovanni Bernard vs MIN
Ryan Mathews vs OAK
Andre Brown @ DET
Dennis Johnson vs DEN

This is the impossible cluster****. All my options pretty much blow ass. This is the major reason I'm like a 10 point underdog this week.

I think Rice has surged back the past couple weeks, even though the stats don't suggest it. He's sure to get most of the carries in a big game against the Pats. Bernard is by far the best RB I have, but he's no guarantee to get all the touches -- still, I'm 95% sure I'm starting him this week.

Mathews has been getting a great workload here at the end of the year with Oakland's shitty defense on deck. Andre Brown is also a guarantee to get the workload, but Detroit's defense is good.

Dennis Johnson is the boom-bust guy here. With Tate out, Johnson's taking the reigns, and I've really, really liked what I've seen from him. But he's really unpredictable with the Broncos coming up, who absolutely have to beat the Texans. Still, I'd love to start him.

So I'm basically down to Bernard and either Rice, Mathews, or Johnson.

Help.

Yeah...I wouldn't trust Johnson in the fantasy championship. You start getting cute with boom or bust players and you end up getting killed when the money is on the line.

I hear ya.

The way I look at it, Mathews is nearing a career high in yardage. And he's got the ball more than any other RB the past five weeks.

I gotta go with the hot hand. Mathews and Bernard it is.

I think I've got a lineup set.

Here's the matchup I'm facing, though. ****ing shit.

I think I match up okay with him everywhere, except he is going to destroy me with those RB matchups.

Christ.

Well since you're decided. This is my current lineup.

Romo @ WAS
Charles vs. IND
Lacy vs. PIT
Garcon vs. DAL
Rogers @ KC
J. Thomas @ HOU
Bell @ GB
Rams vs TB
Hauschka vs. ARI

Should I leave Rogers in against the Chiefs or start Patterson against the Bengals?

This is the team I'm facing. It's not looking good.

Stafford vs. NYG
Mathews vs. OAK
Brown @ KC
Megatron vs. NYG
Bryant @ WAS
Tamme @ HOU
Jeffery @ PHI
49ers vs ATL
Janikowski @ SD

Eesh. Those are both hail mary attempts, really.

Gun to my head, I go with Rogers. I can't make a convincing argument, really.

But Rogers just missed a TD last week, right? And the Chiefs do fall asleep and give up big plays... And he's got Luck throwing to him, not Matt Cassel.

Then again, the Bengals are going to try to blanket Greg Jennings. And Patterson did get 9 targets last week. But he can take it to the house.

I just like the Bengals chances of shutting down Cassel better than the Chiefs chances of shutting down Luck.

Man oh man. Good luck with that choice.

Yeah....those are exactly the thoughts that have been running through my head this week. Cruz ****ed me this year and now I'm stuck starting a rookie WR. I'll probably stick with Rogers just because he has the ability to break it off and like you said....it's not Cassel throwing him the ball. I think that Eagles game was a fluke for that offense.

You're welcome. Congrats.

I'm winning mine as well...just have to survive the 49ers defense and I'm up 65 points.

Congrats to both of you. I lost all three of my superbowls.

I rode the Chiefs defense though most of the season in all three and that didn't work out very well for me yesterday. And, of course, two of the teams that beat me had Peyton Manning. I hate that guy.

Congrats to both of you.

I am in the championships of both of my leagues. Each opposing team just has frank gore left. I have an 11 point advantage in one with TE - Davis left to play for me. In the other I have a forty point advantage. So what are the odds that Frank Gore ruins my fantasy season once? Twice?

edit: Apparently I lost two points for Keenan Allens punt muff as a score correction last night and therefore only have a 9 point advantage. sadmodes.

Yeah, but losing the big game is still a sucky way to end a great season.

Yea, unless Gore just goes apeshit I should take down my $40 league. I worry about the $25 league though. Still, Davis has been crushing it lately and has a pretty favorable matchup. Hope I eek it out.
