Man it must have been bad. Wish I would have seen it. I watched the refs give Charlie Ward & Bowden a crystal ball with phantom 1st downs, & calls that were from left field. That hole reffing crew had money on FLA-ST.
JFC the media cried so hard for Charlie Ward that year They screwed over a undefeated WV team. Notre dame got ****ed to. ND had more right to play in that that game than Fla-st. But Burger King & the media cried,& LOUD!

Cheating refs here & there is all part of the game IMO. hard to prove but you will never convince me it doesn't happen

It was clearly short of the mark when they measured. Ref looked at it twice. Then they went to the replay booth and didnt overturn it. Which not sure if they could overturn it being the spot? Or the fact they measured it and it was short.

It was crazy. The camera angle made it a little misleading but it was definitely short. I though Spurrier was going to have a heart attack.
