Tough break for the Cowboys...Hopefully Galloway will recover next year and the cowboys stink this year...We get their first round pick

After watching the Boys and the Seahawks yesterday, we might be picking 1,2 in the draft next year

It is a tough break for the Cowboys. Hey Bliss, pay attention. This is going to turn out to be a GREAT trade for the Seahawks. The Cowbowys clearly suck, and the Seahawks have two #1 picks coming from them for Galloway. Remember how you said that Holmgren made a terrible trade? Wrong again!

Yes, it is a tough break for the Cowboys.

Hey Bliss, pay attention! Holmgren has Dallas' #1 pick for the next two years for trading Galloway. Dallas clearly stinks. NOW do you think it is a good trade? Remember how you said that Holmgren made a terrible mistake in letting Galloway go? Wrong again Bliss!

This injury just made a damn good trade, an outstanding one. I hate to agree with Pack, but this one is going to help him build what he wants in Seattle. Now if Ron Wolf can unload lame arm Favre for a couple of #1s, Ken could really rejoice.

KCRED,

why do you hate to agree with me?

Favre is a franchise, hall of fame QB when healthy. He is damaged goods right now. The Packers should sit him until he is healthy. They have drafted and developed an adequate backup (Hasselbeck). Either way, they are not playoff bound.

Jerry Jones reminds me a little of Carl Peterson. Mortgaging the future to chase a super bowl that only he believes is attainable. The Cowboys draft like crap and keep signing free agent castoffs. Their salary cap is totally fcked up and they have no direction. Ditto for the Chiefs. Trading a #2 for Chester, signing Dan williams to an outrageous contract, extending Grbac, making draft picks hold out, signing a Lew Bush and immediately plugging him into the starting line up, losing Tounge because his cap is messed up and having a statue at QB. One HUGE difference between Jones and Peterson is that Jerry has a couple of rings. Peterson hasnt had a playoff win in 7 years.

Ken - Yes, I already see his mastery at work.

Holmgren scored at will yesterday and cut through the opposing defense like a knife through....

What's that? Ohhh, ummm never mind.

Anyway Holmgren's great defense stopped any chance of Miami scoring at .....

Huh? Oh really. Never mind.

Ken, what are you talking about????

As usual you twist what you want. I said Holmgren was stupid for holding Galloway out as long as he did, and I was right. It did not benefit him last year (a healthy full-seasoned Galloway could have been the difference between playoff bound and playoff win) and definitely does not benefit him this year.

bliss,

As usual, I have to remind you of what you said. You said that Holmgren was stupid for letting his best player go. I had to inform you that he didnt "let him go". Holmgren, in fact, traded him for two #1 picks. You didnt know that. Even after I informed you, you still thought it was a bad trade. Turns out you were wrong (again). One game doesnt make a 12 year career. Holmgren is a proven winner with one year and one game under his belt. Holmgren has done more in six years than gunter or carl have done combined in their career. PLEASE, do not redicule Holmgren. It only makes you look like a fool.

Ken - Yes, he let him go. He let an entire season go.

You whine about Morris missing a couple of weeks of training and you praise when Galloway misses more than half a season.

Holmgren made a 2 year mistake. I am sure that he will benefit down the line, but until that mystical draft pick performs in 2001 or even as late as 2002, your argument is lame and without basis AGAIN!

Bliss,

You are reaching. Again. It gets painful to watch you desperately fight back. It is a combination of pain and commedy.

Getting two #1 picks for Galloway is hardly "letting him go". Let me help you with what "let go" means. Reggie Tounge. The Chiefs got nothing in return for him.

Also, Seatle did worse after Galloway returned. And let me remind you, in case you have forgotten. The Seahawks made the playoffs last year.

Oh, Ken, I agree. Seattle did worse with a discontented player being forced back to work. Had Galloway not been active by week 11 he would have stood to lose a great deal, so he came back to work - under conditions that were not acceptable to him.

Had Holmgren handled the situation better you may have had more an argument than they "went to the playoffs". After all, aren't you the one constantly reminding us that just going isn't enough.

Holmgren's decision MAY pay off in the future, but until it does - what proof do you have?

Russ,

Way to go. Finally getting through to you. Holmgren has Dallas' #1 pick for the next two years. With Galloway and Aikman hurt, a terrible defense, and tough schedule, I think those draft picks look pretty good. Even Peterson couldnt screw up a top five draft pick. I doubt Holmgren will. It was a brilliant trade. If guys dont want to play for you, you get rid of them. Unlike Peterson. Dan williams didnt want to play so Peterson rewarded him with a huge contract. As you can see, that was the wrong decision. Dont riducle Holmgren only because I support him. Everyone (except Luzap) knows his track record and it is almost impecable. Taking his team to the playoffs in his first year AND getting two #1 from a bad team are huge strides. Especially since Seattle hadnt been to the playoffs in a decade. Holmgren is doing a great job.

Ken - You know, I typed three paragraphs back and realized after re-reading that it was rhetoric with you. So I deleted it.

You keep your festering and unnatural anger against Carl Peterson, don't drag me into it. If you value my opinion so little, I don't understand why you keep pulling me into your conversations and topics. You are indeed a sick little man without validation in your life.

You know, this is a new board. Maybe you can come up with a new idea once in awhile.

Bliss,

You responded to me. I didnt drag you into anything. Your memory sucks!

Why cant you be a man and admit you are wrong? The Galloway trade is a one sided trade. Any body with an once of football knowledge can see that. Why cant you?

Ken,

Proof of your illness leaking over from Carl to me and Luz:

These are all posts that occurred before I even addressed you...

" Hey Bliss, pay attention."

"They go awol after all Chief set backs. As soon as the Chiefs win one that they are not supposed to, Bliss and co. will be back talking about how great Elvis, Peterson, and the Running back by committee are. It never fails, especially Bliss."

"Where are Russ Bliss, Luzap, and Injun?? You cant shut those guys up during training camp, but get a few Chief losses in a row and they dissapear without a trace. If the Chiefs beat Tennessee, and thats a big if, look for these three to return chirping about Elvis and a super bowl."

Again, I am not sure why you feel the need to speak with people that you obviously have no regard for on a subject that you have no interest in. It is obvious that the negative attention you receive is some sort of necessity in your life.

As I stated earlier, get a life, and try to leave me out of your fantasies in the future.
