Me too. When I decide it's time, I know what to do. So, I wish you all luck, but I'm done talking about it, until I have some results.

Been a while since progress pics.

I feel like crap today, and I look it too. Also my 2nd picture is pretty nancy-boy-esque, but what do you expect from me?

First pic (Approx 320-340 lbs, no idea, didn't weigh myself)

Second pic (Approx 275 lbs and a duck face)

Third pic, today (251 lbs, a lot of acne, the blinds were open so the sun is shining on my face and i look really white)

Cant really tell that a huge difference between pic 2 and 3, but look at the neck area.

November 1st after finding out that Chester died at 42.. It scared the crap out of me.

Then my wife walked up to me and decided that she wanted to divorce.

I started my journey at 397..

As of today I am 320.

I wish everyone here is doing well and I wish them the best.

Good luck.

Keep up the good work! I joined the forum a while after this whole thing started, but a few years ago I lost a bunch of weight and it's made a big difference in my life. The results are harder to see until you get closer to your goal, but it's definitely worth it in the long run.

I have a friend who was thin up until about 5 years ago. She's started exercising and such, and she made a comment that just stuck with me.

Since I've been training for this 5k (my first ever) I've enjoyed further weight loss. I've been running about 3 miles, 3-4 days per week for the past 2 1/2 weeks. I've lost another 3-5 lbs. Now I really have to strive to maintain a desirable weight, and hopefully, build a little muscle.

I'm inching ever so closer to the 230's. I started this at 264 and this morning weighed in at 241. I haven't been in the 230's since shortly after I got married, nearly 13 years ago.

Also at 237.5 will be the 10% loss milestone.

That's what it's all about. Nobody to blame but us.

I will say that I'm not actually in that bad a position. I'm exercising enough that my weight has plateaued between 220 and 225 regardless of what I eat. And that's the crux of it: what I eat. Physically, I'm in better shape riding and running than I was at this time last year (I hadn't even bought my bike yet, in fact; I got it around April fools day IIRC). Yesterday I ran a half hour in the morning and biked forty-five minutes in the afternoon. I don't think I ever did that last year. Today I walked an hour in the morning and biked an hour in the afternoon. And I'm not much slower on my bike than I was at my fastest last year, although my endurance is still a bit behind where it was in August. But I'm so much further ahead than this time last year. Which is encouraging.

The only thing I have to do is get myself to eat what I'm supposed to eat instead of what I want to eat.

Good! You are close. A couple of weeks away from the sounds of it.

I weighed in at 251.0 this morning, which is 44 lbs down from 295.

Another 0.3 lbs and I am at 15%.

From my heaviest which was when you saw me at the bash, I've lost over 27% body weight.

That's crazy. I can tell the difference on my bike when I lose five pounds. I can't even begin to imagine what losing 50 would feel like.
