****Official Mizzou Head Basketball Coach Search****

Thought I'd start a new one of these. The old one is infected with the Haith Aids plus it had the wrong number of astericks.

First of all its an apples to orange comparison.

Last year Nebraska football won 9 games despite starting mostly frrsh and soph on defense while playing with a converted linebacker at QB and a redshirt freshmen. Over the last 5 years they reached the conference title game 3 times.

Basketball: They were one of the worst programs. Last year with Freshmen and Soph they beat 2 elite 8 teams and lost to Michigan by a point. Only lost 1 home game. Finished 4th in the best conference again with freshmen and sophomores.

Youre delusional if you dont think they will make noise the next few years. If Mizzou hires Anderson thats a Sadler hire yes you can say Nebraska is the better program. If they hire Howland then its diffrrent.

Do you think Nebraska can consistently compete in basketball with the powers of the Big 10?

MU football just played in basically the national championship play in game, are in tougher conference to boot.

Until they "make noise" the next few years, I guess I'm delusional , because until I see it, I'm a little skeptical. I think they're on the upswing though.

I also think the NU football program has plateaued under Pelini, buts thats more an indictment on him than anything else.

I think as long as Tim Miles is there they can compete to finish top 6 in the conference which means most years that gets you in the dance. I think next year they could be a sweet 16 team and if they get Jordan Cornish they could possibly be a top 10 team. I dont think we can say any of this about Mizzou if they hire Kim Anderson.

The football program has won 9-10 games every year Bo has got there. Thats not bad its basically what Pinkel has done just about every year. Next year they should have one of the better defenses in the nation and a top 10 recruiting class right now. Lets see how Mizzou adjusts to losing some key guys. My guess is Pinkel will keep winning 8-9 games.

@Dave_Matter: Was told Kim Anderson is in his office at UCM, not a flight to Columbia. UCM aviation school has training flights in the air all the time

You are confusing topics. You compared Wooly/Tan Tom to that of the Bruce Weber hire. I plainly debunked your BS with, you know, facts. They're pesky, but pertinent to a discussion.

Now, you have taken my stab at using facts for some sort of cheerleader comment regarding my affinity for Bruce Weber. What a strange leap, given I never once stated how "excited" I was that he was our coach. In short, you are not very good at this..........
