Unofficial Raiders Home Game - Oakland vs Houston in Mexico City

Wish I could say I thought Osweiler can get it done... but I dont

They have the weapons to score on the fade, sure... but that gangly loser probably wont be able to get it to them, we shall see

The OOB call was close either way IMO. I can easily see why they would call that out at full speed. Seems to depend on the angle one has. Its that close. The right way to do it is let it go then review it afterward to spot the ball correctly if he did step out. But then again they did it that way the week before when Denver blocked the PAT and ran it back and they still upheld the original call. even though it looked like he stepped out.

The bigger integrity issue in the game was the spotting of the ball on 3rd and 4th down. I know its not scientific and spotting errors happen in every game, BUT they were forced to review the 4th down spot... and still upheld it. It looked like he got it to me.

I don't really give a shit to be honest. The Raiders have been on the wrong side of calls often. After years of horrible play they are doing well and I am enjoying it~

Raiders may have won regardless, Houston couldn't stop them on the rest of their possessions from the turnover on downs on, and Houston cowardly elected to punt with a little over 2 minutes left near the 50 knowing full well based on the Raiders recent possessions that they likely wouldnt see the ball again, and they did it anyway.

I was stunned by that call, it is as if they conceded the game~

What's insane is how much money the Raiders have dished out for their O-line: +$32 million

They're starving their defense as Sean Smith is their highest paid vet at $9mil/year.

Del Rio/Mckenzie are crazy.

The front office for Oakland has done a fantastic job. They brought that team from death to life.

Raiders are essentially Saints lite. Offensively oriented. They need a competent defensive coordinator. They have a good Rookie DB who is starting. An all pro in Mack. good potential in the dline. They aren't lacking in talent, they are lacking in being misplaced.
