Try this poll on for size: The Titans lure in Manning....

Manning shows up to Tennessee for training camp is perfect shape and seemingly perfectly healthy. The Titans anticipate playing him for the next three years.

Which makes the 1st rounder they spent on Jake Locker seem like a waste of a pick.

So Scott Pioli and the Chiefs finally bring in a QB of the future by trading this year's 2nd, next year's 2nd, and another pick in 2013 based on performance, for Jake Locker.

Locker pushes Cassel for the starting position in 2012, and takes over in 2013.

He will be 24 years old by that time.

I might be willing to forfeit a 5th or 6th round pick just to keep him OFF our team. Do not want.

This. I saw that guy in college several times.

Matt Cassel thinks this guy can't throw the ball. He's more athlete IMO than QB.

By the time that QB is ready, you will have missed the window with the core talent of this team. It is a shame, but now is the time, in fact it is getting late.

we will be drafting 10 - 15 so it doesnt really matter, our team is good enough to win 7- 9 games regardless of QB

If Clark did that to Matt Cassel, Cassel wouldn't even be able to put his hat on without dropping it.

I don't think that Locker is that smart. He's going to get hurt out there in the NFL playing like he did in college. He's Brady Quinn.

Is anybody in this thread who's shitting on Locker watch him play for the Titans last year?

Curious minds.

Because he looked pretty damn good. He flashed.

Did you mean off season training prior to the draft? Mini Camp and training camp happen after the draft, so the picks would be for 2013 and 2014.
