Trade Opinion: Ryan Grant for Dwayne Bowe

I have been offered a trade,

I give up Ryan Grant, recieve Dwayne Bowe.

Heres my RBs/WRs and his RBs/WRs

Mine:
Michael Turner, Willie Parker, Ahman Green, Ryan Grant
Reggie Wayne, TJ Houshmanzadeh, Vincent Jackson, Javon Walker, Ronald Curry

His:
Frank Gore, Darren McFadden, Ronnie Brown, Selvin Young, Chris Johnson
Torry Holt, Anquan Boldin, Dwayne Bowe, Donte Stallworth, Ted Ginn Jr.

I put Grant on the Trade block hoping for a decent WR, you think I should get something better for him than Dwayne Bowe, or do you think D. Bowe, will step it up this year. My only concern is whos throwing the ball to him.

The trade is fine on the surface, IMO. But it doesn't really fit either team.

Bowe is no benefit to you, unless you play 3 WR's a week. You'd never start him over TJ or Wayne. Plus, it leaves you ridiculously thin at RB.

My league is a 2 RB, 3 WR league. I should have clarified that.

I dont know why, but I just feel that Ryan Grant wont reproduce what he did last year.

I think Grant will be fine. Your other RBs have a lot more question marks.

Okay.

I just think after Reggie Wayne and TJ Houshmanzadeh, my WR corps is extremely weak.

Hopefully either Ronald Curry or Javon Walker will step it up though...

There's always one or more sleeper receivers out on FAs that you can swoop on in the first couple of weeks. Rbs are too valuable even in a 3 WR format

I'd keep Grant. You have a lot of ? already with your running backs.

How much success will Turner have on a bad Atlanta team with a rookie QB? Will Fast Willie Parker bounce back from a practically TD-less season, especially with a possible goal-line vulture in Mendenhall on the squad? Can Green's knees hold up, and can he stave off a Steve Slaton who looked great in the last pre-season game?

I watched a lot of Green Bay games last year and I never really saw anything to make me believe Grant can't have a comparable season this year. Also, you've already got good starting WR's. Watch the waiver wire and try and pick up some depth that way.

I think Grant is your strongest RB. Bowe is an "ok" 3rd WR. That would be a crazy trade.

Id never trade a good RB on a good offensive team for a WR on a questionable offensive team.

Only reason I had Grant because it was a keeper league, and I didnt have any keepers from last year....

The best available players (according to yahoo) before the draft started were Larry Johnson, Ryan Grant, Peyton Manning, Reggie Wayne.

I had the 3rd and 4th pick of the draft. 1st guy chose Manning, 2nd girl chose Larry Johnson (autopick), so I picked up Wayne and Grant.

Grant will see a decrease due to a crappy aaron rodgers passing game, but DBowe will see a decrease due to being on the worst offense in the league. And I'm a homer.
