Interesting. Most of the reviews of AC3 say it's buggy as hell.

I haven't had a single issue with AC:BF. Not a single bug. Some frustrating sequences due to the control scheme but those aren't bugs, just poor design choices.

That's what I'm thinking. Hopefully the prices will come down a little bit.

The real question is.....do I get Destiny for PS3 or wait until I get a PS4 and be behind the curve.

Another option is to get it on PS3 and then get it again later (hopefully at a discount...) once you have the PS4. The characters will be the same on both as I recall. Didn't someone do that during the beta (was it Guru?).

So, you can transfer your characters from the PS3 to the PS4?

It's a persistent online world and they're tied to your account, so I don't think it even requires a transfer, but I'm not sure.

What do you think the price point might be for the PS4 around BF? Or just maybe really good bundles?

Which particular mission are you on? I can probably help, since I just started playing the game a few days ago. And fair warning - there's a sequence near the end of the first sequence that is VERY frustrating if you're trying to satisfy all the secondary objectives. Took me almost an hour to finally get it.
Yeah, I want to get beyond the BS, since it has some pretty great reviews and the combat looks great. And I like the games where there's the option of stealth or brute force.

I had to tail a few guards that were going to a hanging and now I'm supposed to sneak into a fortress... it's named "...And My Sugar?" The mission itself doesn't seem that difficult.... I've died a few times because I tried to force my way in (mostly to get used to the combat), but I've wasted a few more attempts due to the bugs and the stupid shit he does.

Yeah, that mission is a bitch.

It takes a couple of tries to figure out how to tail without getting caught. And just as you figure it out, it drops you next to the fortress and that part is a bitch too.

Here's the biggest thing to remember - DO NOT hit R1 to assassinate in missions like this. If you're behind a corner, in a hiding spot or haystack, or hanging from a wall, just hit the square button. This is especially important when you're getting into the fortress at the end of "...And My Sugar" because if you press R1, you will jump onto the wall and get spotted. If you just press square, you can grab guards off of the wall and throw them into the drink several hundred feet below.

Not to scare you but it probably took me 30 minutes or so to finally master that mission. There's one not too long after that is WAY worse and very frustrating.

Fortunately, once you finish it, the game opens up and becomes way more fun and way less stressful.

Think of the first few missions as a really tough initiation to the game - it's not a traditional tutorial but they're forcing you to learn skills you'll need later.
