I was listening to 810 and 610 back and forth this morning and heard some good stuff about our first-day picks.

Apparently Paterno makes everyone cut their hair, won't allow players to have facial hair, etc. He then singled-out Hali and said his haircut was unique to Liberia so he was exempt from the rule. Hali cut his hair anyway. This guy must be a huge character guy.

Also, the PSU announcer had a glowing review of Pollard, thought that was interesting coming from a conference rival...

The OC from Alabama said that Croyle was as good or better than the 2 NFL QB's he coached at Tulsa. Thought that was interesting, except that one of the was Gus Frerotte.

Good stuff thanks for the info. Pollard really has me excited I hope Herm and Gun find a way to get him out on the field as soon as possible. Hali is going to be the perfect compliment to Allen.

The defense is looking up IMO. I cant wait to see it take shape.

I'd rather have a Pollard jersey than a Hali jersey. I really like this Pollard guy.

Frerotte had a few good years before he head-butted himself. What an idiot. That's the kind of people that go to/live in Tulsa. (Skip)
