Many people I know around here are all caught up in snowmaggedon '13. We did and are getting dumped on pretty good but still... it's getting ridiculous.

If you're dealing with the worst snowstorm in the history of mankind, i.e. if you're in the midwest and have a bunch of panicy friends... please check in here and let us know you're still alive. Maybe include an update of just how alive you are. At home safe alive...stuck at work alive... in a ditch alive... bleeding from at least 4 orifaces after the accident and the nurse has cold damn hands alive... those will work. Let me/us know how much concern we should have or if a prayer thread may be in order.

If you aren't alive please don't feel the need to respond. We'll just assume.

2 people I work with are stuck at work tonight. They both live out of town... in the next state over in fact... and roads are closed right now. One is sleeping on the bosses couch and the other on his office floor. I'm texting them telling them how comfy my couch and blanky are. I am what some call an asshole.

We got hit last weekend 12 plus inches of snow with 60 mile an hour winds all weekend. I had to dig my way out of the neighborhood last Monday morning. Had to deal with a blizzard Tuesday and Wednesday and got stuck in the ditch on Thursday while avoiding not taking anyone out because of dumb***** . I was stuck for about an hour before a tow truck came to get me out. If not for the snow I would have flipped. I have windows that I can't see out of because of the drifting snow.

7 inches unoffically so far. Still snowing lightly. Someone 10 miles away measured 13 inches in 3 different spots in their front yard.
