Per ProFootballCentral
Chiefs will be looking to bring CB Sean Smith in for a visit. Smith reportedly is looking for around $7 million a year. |

He's worth that. He's young enough that he'll play at a high level the entire contract.

I'll guarantee that Smith has a deal in place before visits are even allowed.
Players rarely make free agent visits early in FA anymore - especially with these new rules. These 3 days of negotiating are going to take the official visits out of it. You want the player, you bring the checkbook to the bargaining table and meet with him on Tuesday to sign the contract.

I would love to trade Tamba and get Dumervil if he's cut. I like Tamba but he's getting older

Not happening and I don't think Dumervil can play OLB in a 3-4.

He had his best season as an OLB in a 3-4.

Tamba had a down season because he was asked to drop into coverage 60% of the time.
With Bob Sutton Tamba will be rushing the qb all the time. Tamba I believe still has a good 4-5 years left. |
