I like the big play potential from our offense and defense. The defense gives up a shit load of yards but like I said last year maybe they can force enough turnovers to offset the yardage given.

Toledo returned 16 starters. They are one of the most experienced teams in college football, and we crushed them at their place. We played a pretty good (but not great) game and won going away. It was never in doubt.

If you had told me that we would trounce Toledo by 25 points in a game that was absolutely as lopsided as the scoreboard indicated, I would have been ecstatic. Bitching about this game is a very Mizzou fan thing to do.

I'm a little concerned with defense stopping the run in the SEC with big bruising running backs. Looks like Ray and Golden don't stand up to the rush very well.

Other than that, thought these guys played great in a potential trap game. Next week will be no lay up either.

I listened to the game on radio while putting up tree stands. The announcers talked about this being the best team Toledo ever fielded.

May have just been hype but Toledo is usually not a slouch.

I went to grad school at Bowling Green, Toledo's primary rival, and still follow the MAC somewhat closely.

That might be the sixth best Toledo team since Pinkel left there. It's not even close to the '95 team, or the team in '02 (I think) that beat a few ranked teams.
