I disagree.

I think the talent throughout the league is better overall now than it was during the years that the Jordan Bulls were dominating.

He may win over some critics. Probably because ESPN has devoted 2 years toward LeBron's PR campaign. But he will never earn the respect of critics who are connected with reality.

People hate LeBron for a reason and it's a very good one. I don't respect him because I think he's a lousy leader and an entitled little brat. The people I've talked to that have worked with him at one point or another will tell you the same.

Considering most professional athletes, I'll take lousy leader and entitled brat with a clean record and a devoted service to charity over some of the other scumbags out there.

Hell, Tony Gonzalez was a lousy leader and an entitled brat. He didn't give two flying shits about the fans, either. Dude was a major narcissistic jackass. Yet everybody around the NFL universally respected him and treated him as a good guy, and that includes non-Chiefs and Falcons fans.

Aren't you a Cavs fan? At least you've talked about LeBron scorning the Cavs and their fans enough times that you've made me believe you are one.

Yes, I root for the Cavs, therefore, I root against LeBron and hope he never wins a championship.

And thus your opinion is (understandably) biased. I have no doubt I would feel the same way.

I think any fan of sports should feel close to the same exact way. The problem is, between all the vicious unwarranted attacks on him and ESPN going out of their way to do his PR work, people don't see the truth. It wasn't just about The Decision or his desire to win a championship elsewhere. There's a lot more to this story that should make any fan of sports angry.

People who bitch about the decision are idiots. It's not like he went out and said hey let's make a show out of where I'm deciding to go. Everyone wanted to see it and you are probably lying if you say you didn't watch it. If I remember correctly he donated every penny he made off of it to charity. He had no talent around him in Cleveland and he made the right decision to leave. He would of wasted his career there.

The thing is, a lot of the "catering to the narcissistic big star" narrative that came out after he left isn't unusual in professional sports. Many times that stuff doesn't come out because the player's team doesn't want to upset the star. It just so happened that Cleveland felt so scorned, they decided to air all of the dirty laundry. There are many, many self-obsessed professional athletes that expect everyone to cater to their every whim. LeBron isn't alone.

Lol then you should probably channel your anger toward ownership and management. They allowed the behavior.
