Unfortunately this rarely ends well.

It's generally better to do these things first and then brag about it.

Although I'd be excited after getting rid of Matt Cassel, too. Even if it is just Alex Smith.

If he points to the back of his jersey enough he will get the point across

I'm not sure what he was supposed to say - I guess nothing at all may have been alright.

I appreciate his enthusiasm and look forward to Bowe beast mode this year.

except as i tried to tell people here, while hes not great, his public perception around the league, is far better than what pessimists here give him credit for.

Alex Smiths best ability as a qb is this. No doubt in my mind he and Bowe, will excel

Hell yes, its a new lease on life for the chiefs.

Say what you want about Alex Smith, but he's better than Cassel, Quinn, Thigpen, Croyle, and Huard. That's pretty much the list of QB's Bowe has played with right?

I mean stale bread tastes pretty good if you haven't had a meal in 10 days. I'm not surprised he's excited. He should probably temper them though. It's the KC tight ends who should be celebrating.
Alex Smith the last two years has thrown more to the receivers, than backs or tight ends. Although, the chiefs have a very nice set of tight ends.....

When Bowe was fussing over his contract, a LOT of SF fans were hoping the 49ers could bring him out there. AT THE TIME, Bowe was seen as a #1 and Crabtree a #2. Personally, I believe Bowe is more explosive than Crabtree. MC is an ideal possession receiver with only slightly above average speed. He is not a deep threat against any decent secondary.

I was one of them. Happy as hell they got boldin. Crabtree can assume his role that he is better suited for, a second receiver.

Alex Smiths best ability as a quarterback is taking sacks over and over mercilessly so he doesn't turn the ball over trying to get yards downfield.

Bowe might be 20th in yardage but he should have a shot at leading in receptions.

Bowe was 7th in yard in 2010 and 10th in 2011 with Matt Cassel.

Players coming off 2-14 seasons need to show it on the field before they start making insane statements.

If he said this as a fun joke, then disregard my bitching.
