Yeah that's a good call, It sounds like some of your shingles cut loose allowing water to seep in. You'll want to try to get on that sooner rather than later, or you will have a black mold mess from hell.

The hardest part for me would be running down a reputable contractor that I could trust. Every Tom, Dick and Harry that can hold a hammer will be down there. Make sure you stick to an established company that is based in your area.

Think we're breaking down and getting a hotel tonight. Tired of trying to have sex in the heat. Impossible to cool down after that. Been drinking heavily and smoking lots of herb to help pass out.

also most hotels in the area are allowing pets and not charging more. The state and county have also waived the "hotel and resort" fees that usually chArged to rooms.

I just came back from doing lots of what you call window shopping but doing it inside. Now I am home. Thinking of going to a restaurant to milk an iced tea until it's time for bed.

Yeah hurricanes can be a bit hard on a roof. It could have also messed with a stack of some sort and cause a leak point. Either way, if you are seeing marks on the ceiling, you better get on it as soon as you can.

Already called insurance. An adjuster coming either tomorrow or next day. They said they are backlogged with hi volume of claims right now.

Oh, and coochie—it's not so bad at night if you open your windows all around for a cross breeze and run your ceiling fans. Especially if your place of work has ac during the workday.

There must be an unusually large contract for cleaning up Orlando. A good sized fleet amassed from scratch in a matter of a week, which is nearly impossible, just to go to work there. The pile of coin they flipped to make it happen that quick was something no other storm has caused in the last ~15 years. Something moved the normal process from "we'll get there when we get there" to "we'll be there yesterday with a brand new fleet".

Florida also appears to be paying better than Texas across the board. It's enough that crews are pulling out of Houston and moving, leaving contractors scrambling for rigs to replace them.

FEMA is making it rain all over the midwest right now.
