I've been wanting to do this forever but I've never had the opportunity until now. Anyone done this before? How was it?

I wouldn't mind trying it. There's actually a hang glider port close by, out in La Jolla right by Torrey Pines golf course.

I've parasailed but I haven't hang-glided.

I went to a club once to take lessons, but the teachers were the most arrogant people on earth and seemed to think that their ability to hang loosely under stretched fabric made them the rulers of all they surveyed. So I never went back.
