Their ridiculous luck of losing an AWESOME player to injury for a few weeks makes me want to throw things at my Pats fan roommate.

If Gronk was a Chief his arm would've been amputated

If it makes you feel better, we basically lost Gronk for the SB last year and I'm utterly convinced we would've won if he'd been 100%. He's that impossible to deal with, and the game was that close.

Oh, and Mankins played on a torn ACL all of last year. Everyone was wondering why he was only good, instead of awesome, and then we found out after the season was over.

And of course we lost Welker in the last game of the season in 2009, so we didn't have him in the playoffs. This was pre-Gronk/Hernandez, so our entire offense was basically nothing but Moss/Welker. Not that we were going to do squat that year, but still.

None of this is to complain about our injuries. All teams have them, but don't for a second think the Patriots HAVEN'T had their fair share of injuries the last few years.

My hatred of Eli Manning and desire to see the local team succeed made that game so excruciating.

Also, be prepared to never win another Super Bowl for as long as I live here and/or have a positive opinion of your team. Sorry.

Man, karma's some pretty weak sauce.

The funniest thing is if Belichick had truly embraced his inner dickishness and gone for two on last TD, Gronk would never have gotten hurt.

I'm sorry but last year's super bowl was not on Gronk..brady made a bad throw to a wide open welker. Even with Gronk gone for a few weeks, I don't even see this as a big loss, they're offense is too potent with Ridley and Lloyd.
