I do as well. Both of these teams can erase a 10 point lead fairly quickly so I don't get it.

This playoff series? No.

You're acting like it was just as flukey" as what Green and Neal did in game 3.

The Spurs didn't win last game because Neal and Green had a "flukey" performance. Let's not start that bullshit. The Spurs won last game because they were moving the ball around without the stupid turnovers they were commiting today, because Ginobli was actually somebody the Heat defense cared about, and because Splitter was doing his job down low. When the Spurs do that, outside shots open up.

Today, they were terrible. Too many stupid turnovers, no offensive rhythm, and terrible play by their role players.

Neal and Green are going to hit open shots. They hit an abnormal amount of shots in game 3, but it also happened to be the only game where the whole Spurs team played consistently well.

They get more open shots when the Spurs have a rhythm, move the ball, and don't make stupid mistakes and turnovers. It shouldn't be a surprise that the Spurs won the two games where they played by far the least sloppy basketball.

Ginobli, in game 3, played 23 minutes scores 7 points with 6 assists.

Neal and Green, were 13-19 from the 3 pt line.

I wouldn't say they were terrible but Miami won because they played very good defense and forced alot of those turnovers and they had alot of blocks. Plus Wade showed up tonight.

People were shitting on Wade because they know he has this kind of ability in him (well maybe not prime Wade good, but very good). He is capable of being much better than the complete non-factor of a player he's been for much of the playoffs.

The Spurs only had 18 TO's tonight, compared to 12 in game 3.

The Heat won tonight, because they ran guys off the 3 point line in the 2nd half and Parker mysteriously didn't play in said half. The Heat have to run multiple guys at Parker, leaving all those shooters standing.

Defensively, the Heat are able to guard Manu with 1 guy, not having to help and lead to poor rotations.

This game isn't just about makes/misses. Ginobli played effectively last game. He's been terrible the rest of the series between his shaky ballhandling in game 1 and 2, and his terrible decision making in game 4. No, he's not the only guy that lost today. The Spurs kept getting disrupted by terrible entry passes. Even Duncan wasn't himself and threw a few horrible passes that were un-Duncan like.

The Spurs were sloppy. A lot of that is because the Heat chose to be aggressive today (which drives me crazy that they selectively choose which games they want to swarm). But a lot of that was just the Spurs not playing with their head on straight. When they don't move the ball fluidly, they struggle. When guys like Ginobli can't attack, that hurts their ability to open up the outside shot. If the Spurs move the ball as well as they did in game 3, they'll still hit their outside shots at a nice rate (not the abnormally high rate they did... but at a good rate.)

The Spurs still shot 50% from 3 tonight, but shot HALF the number of 3 point shots as they did in game 3.

The Heat don't have to double/help/rotate around Manu. He's a shell and really has been all year.

Parker being a ghost in the 2nd half killed the Spurs offense. He makes them go.

Wade has sucked in the playoffs. He was terrific today. Which is what I've said. And like I said, it's either a fluke or he's going to be a 4-quarter player from here on out.

I'm really not sure what people are trying to jump on me for here.

Parker sparks the offense. But what kills the Spurs offense is turnovers and inability to move the ball in rhythm. Too many broken up entry passes. Too many guys holding on to the ball and not setting up a good offense.

They won game 1 because they only committed 4 turnovers. They won game 3 because they moved the ball fluidly and guys got open.

I'm not blaming this game on Parker at all. You can't beat the Heat and make the kind of lazy passes they made tonight.

Probably because you used fluke and Dwayne Wade in the same sentence.

Yes he has had a not very Dwayne Wade like playoff run but that is because he is hurt not because he started sucking out of the blue.
