Went out this morning and saw some poor lady shoveling herself out from the nice two foot drift the snow plow had pushed against the back of the entire row of cars. Hopped in the wife's Sorrento and backed over that lump, cleaned it off and went back inside. She looked on in amazement and most likely realized she should buy something with AWD/4WD and a bit of clearance for times like these.

Right there with you buddy. I'm pretty sure you can tie up 65K if you set your mind to it. It's absurd. We bought that trail blazer a year old with 25K miles off like 19. I bought her a Buick Regal that is quite a bit fancier again a year old with 22K on it and I'm only 22 deep into it.

My poor old pickup is a salvage title with 130K on it, and it gets more miles than both wife's cars combined now that she's not commuting.

God I'm a cheap bastard.

Heh. I was worried about mine. The last time we had enough snow to snowpack the street, my tires were really new. Now, they're well...not. But there must be enough rubber to keep decent enough traction.

It might be different now, but 5 years ago it was an easy decision.
Except that the power windows and power locks in Jeeps have always sucked ass!
