I am lucky to live in Hawaii. This cardinal has been coming every day lately. They were introduced to the islands decades ago, they aren't native. But they are fairly rare. Taken with a Nikon D3200, Sigma 70-300mm (at 300), 1/30, F5.6, 800 ISO. Taken from my living room, through a slightly opened screen door.

Splatbass, I have been to your beautiful state three times and visited all the islands with the exception of Hawaii. My wife and I have plans to buy a home there when we retire and live on Maui for six months every year. Your photos make me wish retirement was much closer. Thanks for posting.
