I just don't get it
This backup D-Line has shown they have the ability to play.

Howard and Bailey have been solid, and Powe has been outstanding.

Yet they haven't seen the field, other than Bailey.
Hell, Powe hasn't even been able to maintain his roster spot.

I say again, I just don't get it.

When Powe was dancing after a sack his gut was moving in a different direction than the rest of his body. Maybe a conditioning issue as far as practice is concerned?
It's the only thing I can think of because he is active enough on the field to warrant playing time or at the least a roster spot over fricking chad. If he lost 25-30 lbs he could be a beast.

That's something that needs addressed going forward. They had a few games with Howard active and his only action was the final week. They had opportunities to see what some guys had but just didn't get them on the field, even if only a handful of snaps. Powe needed to be back on the roster sooner and taking a series or so of Poe's snaps in the base D to keep him fresh in the sub packages. They don't do a typical rotation like a tampa two team that relies from pressure from their front 4 and rotates regularly. But they needed to use available bodies like Catapano and others.

Schematically i'm surprised they didn't make a few adjustments in some sub sets when Tamba and Houston got hurt. Not that game but going forward they new Houston would be out and that Zombo isn't much of a rush threat. Moses shit himself in that game and obviously wasn't ready for snaps in the base D/wasn't comfortable with the playbook.
