Last of us......or GTA?
Looking to buy a new PS3 game for the weekend....which one?

Should consider.....I found San Andreas a bit tedious and got bored with it....but am open to going back to the franchise if it's as awesome to play as the trailer looks.

The Last of Us. Seriously one of the best games ever made. GTA is a terrible franchise. Seriously is just a time waster. Might as well play cookie clicker.

Thanks for all the great feedback. For the record, I didn't hate San Andreas.....just wasn't as satisfying as fallout 3, bioshock (any of them).....or borderlands (close to wrapping up 2).....for me.

Looks like it might have to be buy last of us.....and rent GTA.

Last of us is just truly outstanding. Hard to find a better game. GTA5 is really fun too. Just all the different shit to do

The Last of Us has probably the best story line of any game I've ever played. It plays like a movie. I had a little over 19 hours of gameplay when I finished it, and that was with consider time spent scavenging for supplies. I have GTA 5 now and am enjoying it, but I could play the Last of Us all over again and enjoy it just as much!

Honestly, I'd rent TLOU and buy GTA V, simply out of time constraints. It's easy to blow right through TLOU because of its brevity and how engaging/driving the story is. GTA V is too immersive, IMO, for just a "rent." You can't really go wrong either way, though.
