I realize it will *NEVER* happen but.... would you give up a 1st & 3rd for Boldin?

I think I just got a chubby at the thought of Bowe & Boldin together....

There's only a handful of guys in this league I'd even consider giving up a 1st for, and Boldin isn't one of them.

He's 27 and seems to be hurt all the time. A 1st is an awful big investment to make for that kind of uncertainty.

while I want Brodie to work out, I want to know that we have a first rounder handy if he ends up with another injury plagued season. So, I'm not trading that for anything.

I wouldn't give up a probable top ten pick for many players. Boldin is one of the premier players at this position, but not this year. If we had a shot at the playoffs and maybe a Super Bowl that would be one thing, but right now our 2nd round pick should have 1st round value.

My question is for you all...why would we trade for ANYBODY. We are the worst team in the league and stockpiling draft picks and young talent through the draft. Trading draft picks for a veteran just doesn't make sense. It'll be 2 years until we are good again, it's just a waste. Just suck it up, take it like a man that we are going to be the Royals for the next two years. This is what you all wanted, you bitched at Carl because you wanted to be shitty and rebuild. Here you go, no more 10-6 every year and fun. Time for 2-14 and blackouts baby
