As I understand it, they are better, or can be at least. Columi offers a +31 stat bonus. You can get +41 crystals of Power, Crit or Endurance of all colors and some new colors like white. Also, lightside/Darkside restrictions have been removed, so you can use what ever color crystals you want.

We are 4/5 EV and haven't tried KP yet on HM. Mainly we have been watiing for our dps to level and gear up. This week though we are starting to hit it hard.

EV/KP Normal - Tonight
EV HM- Tomorrow
KP HM - Thursday

Ahh, we are having the same issue. We are also 4/5 in HM EV and haven't even tried KP on HM. We're just now starting to get smooth on the Fabricator on normal, but I think we're finally there.

The trash after the fabricator is a fricken nightmare, but then Karagga is a piece cake. If/when you do Karagga, you will know why I think KP will be a lot easier then EV.

Edit: After rereading my post, the If/When comment should be read like this "If you have beaten Karagga or when you do beat him."

I did not mean it to come off as a snotty remark. If it did, I apologize.

Yeah, we are 10/10 on normal (I'm in full Columi minus the boots and 1 Rakata). The Fabricator has always given us the most trouble, though. And I didn't think your post came off as snooty or anything like that so no worries.

I have a serious case of alt-aholism going on right now. Its bad.
Let me list here:

REPUBLIC

Level 17 Sentinel - Playstyle is OK, not great. Would prefer to roll a Guardian
Level 20 Sage - Lot of fun, enjoy the force powers here. Fun in PVP
Level 19 Shadow - Love to stealth and run around. More "technical" to play, but I like it.
Level 16 Gunslinger - Point and shoot. hehe Crazy good damage. Cant believe that in PVP, I landed a crit for 3806
Level 20 Commando - At first, I was not keen on this class. Picked it up last night and spec'd into healing tree, now its a blast!


EMPIRE

Level 22 Juggernaut - Bad ass. Just a brute, in your face style. Fun.
Level 19 Sorc - When I found out that Sorcs are the most played class, I will shelve this guy for a bit. Fun with all the lightning.
Level 26 Operative - Stab stab stab. Story is great.
Level 26 Powertech - Beastly tank, fun in PvP. Great story.
Level 15 Merc - Rolled this for healing. Fun.

So ya, there it is.
I thought I had a bad case of it, but I was reading the forums the other day and a guy posted a screenshot of his 6 Level 50 characters and his number 7 character at level 36. Geebezus.

The problem (and its not really a problem) is that each class plays so differently. They are very unique and I really like that. It makes this game a lot of fun. I just cant decide what is going to be my main because they are all so fun to play. My mood that day/evening will dictate what I want to play. Maybe I feel like being stealthy, so I jump on my operative or shadow. Maybe I feel like being a brute, so I jump on with my juggernaut or powertech. Or healing...etc. etc.

Never had such a bad case of alt-aholism before, but this is bad.

So, for those who have the same or similar problem, any tips?

EDIT: Also, I dont feel like I need to rush to 50 right now. I am really looking forward to patch 1.2, because it fixes so many things that will benefit the game across the board. Legacy system, crafting in particular as well as flashpoints/operations. Im just enjoying it right now.

Shadows/Assassins specced into tanking and wearing DPS gear = the most overpowered thing since Warlocks in vanilla WoW.

This would have to be for PVP. No way you could tank in DPS gear, you would get raped.

It still amazes me (well, okay, only a little) that people are talking about pvp in a one-on-one sense, even after several months.

(I should note that this is a general comment mainly about discussion/QQing going on elsewhere. Seeing the OP and PvP mentions in succession sparked it but it's not really about anything said here...)
