Bonecrusher is a bitch. We wiped on him twice last night. We fnally decided on having all the range spread out around the circle. if you're his targert, stand there and take it. Only two dps pull off of him for the adds that he wants to eat, and then a tank and two dps take down the cats. But keep as much dps as you can on him to burn him as fast as you can. Also, when he smashes you into the ground, you need to get away from him ASAP, as you'll have a 12 second dps that increase the amount of damage you will take. I'im sitting around 22.4K HP, and he one shotted me with that debuff.

As for the Foreman. On normal, we single tank that boss, on HM, we tank swap. Our defensive cooldowns are up for every other frenzy. If I pop my cool down just before he starts swinging, I don't even drop below 100%, he just outright misses me the entire time. Our Bounty Hunter Pyrotech tank takes some damage, but not a lot.

Seriously though, if you can get past Bonecrusher, the rest of the zone is a pretty much cake. The only hard thing is Karagga has a really tight enrage timer that you have to beat, or it's almsot a for sure wipe.

Curious what type of MT you guys use?

I think you underestamate the Shadow/Assassin tanks. We kick ass. Well, I don't really know about the pie baking panzy shadows, but Sith Assassins kick ass as tanks.

They sure are. We have 3 Shadow tanks in the guild (2 serve as off tanks, the other one tanks full on for the 2nd 8-man when they run it). Our highest DPS is a Shadow too.

Our best PvPer (one of the first BMs on the server) is a Shadow tank, too. We have a lot of Shadows now that I think about it.

Nice, good to hear that Shadows are cool too. I single tank EV on Norm/HM and KP normal. Would probably do KP HM too if it wasn't for the foreman. We lack a little bit in the group control, but we are really good in single mob encounters like boss fights.

You can single tank the Fabricator? We only do one tank for EV, but we usually grab an OT for the Fabricator's debuffs.

If you have balls out healers, yes you can. Normally though, we have a BH Powertech in dps spec throw a taunt on him till my stacks are cleared. I think Vanguard is the equivalant of that.

Ahhh, I see. We've tried to use our DPS Shadow to do that but he gets hit for way too much I think. I'm not sure exactly what happens except I know it doesn't go very smooth. I'm the Sentinel upstairs clicking the consoles so I don't know shit.

If you're using a shadow, and he isn't running the tank spec so that he gets the 150% bonus to armor, then yeah, he's going to get pounded like its his first night in federal prison. We wear light armor and will go down faster than a $2 whore on Friday night, our defensive stance gives us 150% armor bonus so that we match up with the heavy armor wearing tanks.

That's why we use a Bounty Hunter dps. He is in heavy armor, while it's not perfect, its workable.

If you guys run it with two tanks, then don't change. I was just saying it's possible. I do know the new raid zone will be 2 tank dependent with a lot of tank swapping.

Just got done spending 4-5 hours on Soa in HM. Got him down to 3% (40k HP) at one point. Holy shit is this fight bugged... At one point we had everyone alive in P3 and Soa just straight up disappeared, the lightning balls stopped coming and the mind traps stopped spawning. So we all just kind stood there going "WTF??"

Sigh. I think we're going to get him next time we try. That fight can be such ****ing BS at times.

watched my friend play this for a couple hours. everyone is a Jedi or a bounty hunter or some other sort of badass. it looks boring as ****. I'd rather watch a laser show if all I'm going to do is watch pretty colors. its cool for the first 5 minutes but then it becomes redundant and pointless. I wish Lucas arts would put out another Jedi Academy game or something that that involves skill instead of character build.

This game takes more skill than any single player game you've ever played in your life.

He's right. Playing my Guardian is hard. There are so many abilities, I can barely fit them on my bars. They need macros bad.
