Lets see. BOTH your 1st string and 2nd string QB's go down and OUT for the season and your 3rd string is horrible under center. You incorporate the SPREAD to maximize his strengths and he does fairly well in the SPREAD ( very few wins withstanding ) and yet you want to say we went FULL reerun? I thought Gaily did a great job of improvising. He may have sucked at game management and play calling but IMHO he did what he had to do with what he had to work with. I call on your assessment. |

I do agree with you Clayton that Thigpen IS NOT the QBOTF for the Chiefs or any other franchise. If he can learn PRO style offense wether it be WestCoast offense or WHATEVER he is a serviceable backup. If he thinks teams OTHER than the Chiefs will want him if they have to revert BACKWARDS to a spread offense he is sorely mistaken. In THAT respect I say we would be full reerun if we keep him and have to do that AGAIN. |
