We have two things to look forward to this year:

1) The potential beginning of the Maty Mauk Era. Mauk represents the best chance for this program to get back to a level of respectability after horrendous QB play cost us multiple games last year.

2) The last year of the Gary Pinkel era. Pinkel's entrenched cronyism won't play in a conference this competitive, especially if he couples his abysmal gameday coaching with lackadaisical, worst-in-conference recruiting. Pinkel was the formerly adequate meal that has now turned into a four pound bowel obstruction. It's time to jam a Fleet's enema up our collective asses.

Here is the schedule. We dodge Alabama, LSU, and Arkansas in the west and the Non-con is decidedly weaker than years past.

Looks like 6-6. Undefeated in non-con, 2-6 in league play.

I will eventually update the OP with a list of high profile in-state recruits that decide to go elsewhere after a half-assed attempt to gain their services. The inevitable cavalcade of *** rejects, skeezers, skanks, and scalliwags we get will fill out the ranks.

Since every Mizzou thread eventually dies of AIDS, I recommend starting anti-retroviral therapy immediately. I believe Walgreens covers Express Scripts.

I was speaking to his raw athleticism alone. Sikes would be more like Wilson in that he can probably diagnose quite well, but most likely lacks the elite athleticism to blow shit up.

I quit listening to KK a couple years ago. His show is all shtick and no content. The interviews blow. Stan Weber is his cfb insider and he's out of his element if discussing anything other than Kansas State. W/ smartphones and the internet and satellite radio there's no reason to subject yourself to that drivel any longer.

Heard that. What's funny is that it is completely inaccurate.

Their hatred of Auburn fall outweighs any potential rioting about a Yankee squad winning the league.

Did we talk about the fact that Missouri attracted more viewers/higher rated TV broadcasts this year than Texas did?

As someone living in the epicenter of SEC football, this absolutely will not happen. That's Keitzman's dumbest take in a while.

This whole "Mizzou having success in the SEC makes the Big 12 better by proxy" meme is already tired. If Mizzou struggles, it's "we told you that you'd never be able to compete". If Mizzou succeeds, it's "we told you the SEC wasn't that good".

On the one hand, they act like programs that haven't been historical powers can't steadily improve before finally making the jump into elite status. On the other hand, check out how awesome Baylor and Oklahoma State are...

I live in SEC country and I've gotten lots of positive responses from other schools' fans when I wear my MU gear out in public. Even had an Auburn fan stop by my office yesterday and say, "Gonna be a great game!"

1) Walters got bumped up to a 5.7, which is the highest 3* rating. He's now ranked as the #14 RB
2) Paul Adams got bumped to a 5.6 and is now the #70 OL
3) Bauer went from the #11 OL to the #5 OL. He is the second-highest rated SEC OL commit

This OL class is going to be pretty good if they land Wallace. Potentially great.

Adams was also named player of the year in Tennessee (for his division, which is the second highest, I believe).

Walters is going to be higher rated than Markel Smith then, yes?
