Is this a BS list? If so, got a link to a good one?

Why was Donovan left off the team? Listening to the talking heads on ESPN that there are 5-8 guys on every team that have no chance to see the field. Why would you not want an experienced guy in the locker room to help the young guys? Or did he piss in the new coach's Cherrios?
He quit the team. This pissed JK off.

Donovan is the US' Brandon Flowers, glorious past but not in the script for the future. He's aging, slowing, and there have been hints his heart isn't 100% into the game anymore. Klinsmann also scorns the fact that Donovan has decided to 'only' face MLS competition, as he feels it doesn't keep his skills as honed as superior leagues would. Further, Klinsmann sees more value in exposing younger players to the WC experience, even if they don't play, than a farewell tour for a player who most likely won't participate in the next go around. That decision was based on his assessment that we weren't going anywhere anyway against our group, and that assessment will undergo increasing criticism the more success we have.

That's all fine, but it doesn't explain Brad Davis.

So he thought we had no chance to advance into the 2nd round? How does a coach give up on his team and still remain coach of the team?

We will give the young guys some experience at being at a world cup but not playing? That will help in 4 years? Doesn't sound like a good plan to me. But, WTF do I know. Maybe soccer doesn't need team chemistry? Veteran players to guide the young players?

That was the GIF of the game, the Argentine fan apoplectic while the Iranian fan sat next to him stoic.
