I was telling my wife something similar. I was talking to her about the 12th man in Seattle and how we used to be like that at Arrowhead. What a shame that we have fallen so far that a stadium that used to be so full and loud and created a definitive home field advantage for us now only half fills up and the fans no longer seem to care.

They were literally feeding off of it, the louder the crowd got the faster they played.

The sideline reporters demonstration with the mic really showed how bad it was.

I don't know about that. Seattle has had that for many years now and SF has had their number. I think it was more because SF was still worn out physically and mentally from the NE game. They mentioned that during the game that after the NE game there was no typical celebration or energy. Everyone was apparently exhausted on the bus to the airport and the flight home. Regardless that home field advantage they have used to be KC and hopefully a new regime brings that back.

why wouldnt he sniff the field because Pioli would bury him? Or Pioli would never draft a guy like that? or if he did, Cassel and Quinn would play in front of him no matter what

newsflash: Ricky Stanzi is not Russel Wilson. Hes not some hidden talent being buried for the sake of not being played.

If Russel Wislon was drafted, he would start here. His athletic talent is far and away clear he knows how to play at the NFL level. No QB on this roster comes close. And dont blame the current coaching staff as a cop out of why we passed over him

we passed over him because our GM is awful at being a talent evaulator. That is clear why we are 2-14 and a team like Seattle has turned it around in 3 seasons.
