Sliders was always a guilty pleasure.

Yup. I loved the concept and with a legit budget and better acting could be one helluva' show.
We're about due for another Twilight Zone reboot as well...

It'd be cool if they did Twilight Zone again. I doubt anyone could put together as many good original stories as Serling did, though. And I wouldn't want to just see originals remade.

Wild Wild West was my favorite show growing up, even more than Batman or Star Trek.

I know, and some of the episodes the used were leftover Serling stories, I believe. And neither reboot was very successful.
There's been other similar shows like Monsters and Tales From the Darkside. I just don't think shows of the quality of Monsters, Tales from the Darkside or the Twilight Zone reboots they've tried would fly now. Monsters and Tales were kind of cornball, the Twilight Zone reboots were mostly mediocre. For a successful reboot the quality, originality and acting would have to be similar to the old black and white originals and I doubt they have the ability to make it work. |

Battlestar Galactica's (2009) ending needs to be rebooted. One of the biggest shit stains in TV history.

Silent Running
Outland And lastly Starship Troopers, which would never happen. I'm one of the few who thought the 1997 movie sucked dog balls. If a producer/director would actually READ the book and put an effort into making a movie within Heinlein's intent, it might help whitewash the steaming pile that Verhoeven shat out 16 years ago. |
