Not to change the subject but the more I think about Dee Ford, the more I think they're going to have a hard time keeping him OFF the field.
IF he's healthy (and yes, that's a concern), he could be extremely disruptive. He's a better pure pass rusher, athletically, than Hali ever was in college. |

He is what he is from sheer desire, effort and hard work. Dee Ford can really learn a lot from him.

If even a fraction of that rubs off on Ford, and Ford can stay healthy, Ford could be a special OLB. |

I know nothing of the kid we got in the third other than what I've read on here. Great size and numbers, but man was I pulling for us to grab Donte Moncrief there. Perfect over the top guy to open up the intermediate routes.
Oh well. Maybe Hemmingway and Jenkins can take about four or five strides forward this year. |

He's got great measurables and elite potential but he's just raw. He also has concentration issues and doesn't follow the ball all the time - let's passes get in on his body too much. Considering how much people here bitch about our current crop of WRs, Moncrief would have driven some people batty. |

I sure hope Demetrios Harris becomes the next big thing.

Didn't we play with Baldwin at the beginning of last year? The man did nothing. I think they see something in Jenkins; maybe he just needs more time in Reid's system? Plus Bowe cannot be worse than last year. I think they really went BPA so you gets what you get. I kinda like this year' draft. Go ahead, call me silly.

One can only assume that the coaching staff feels like the skill position players on the offense will be upgrade by virtue of having a complete season under their belts in that system. Me, I can't believe they see either Hemmingway or Jenkins as a legit 2/3 receiver, but hey, that's why I'm not an NFL GM, I guess.

These next day draft rankings make me chuckle every year. You can't win anything in April (or May). You can't predict or rate any player's performance. The draft, and its aftermath, is a beauty contest, and the talk afterwards is ultimately as meaningless as the talk beforehand.
You know what'll make this a good draft? The majority of these guys playing well enough in the next four years to earn new deals in 2018. A couple of them become stars and it'll have been a great one. |
