The rule is dumb but if mlb is gonna implement it then it should have been reversed because there was no lane. If Carpenter would have lowered his shoulder and bulldozed the catcher he would have been out automatically.

You know it's bad when the pitcher has to ignite the offense. And Craig is just absolutely lost, I am baffled at how fast he turned into a bad hitter.
