The same ****ing thing has been going on for years. There have always been super teams in the NBA and they've been built often through free agency and trades. It only suddenly became some kind of huge transgression to do so when LeBron was involved.

LeBron will forever be known as the guy that quit on his Cleveland teammates in the conference finals against Boston. No so-called "superstar" has EVER done that before.

Of course he's a nice player, but the Westbrook injury changed NBA history this year.

I certainly remember the Cavs getting beat by a superior team and the media forming one of their many bullshit narratives to explain it, yes.

The Heat cleaned the clock of OKC just last year with both Westbrook and Harden, but yeah, I'm sure they would have gone down to them this time.

Amazing how these trolls delude themselves.

Cleveland or Miami.

Where would you want to play/live?

I don't fault Lebron for why he made that decision, it was how he did it.

Totally agree. I thought a lot of him in Cleveland. Not now. But he has his rings, and for him that's all that matters I guess. You can't change that I guess...

I'll add that some of us liked that when he was in Cleveland, he represented what many of us consider to be a "real" city too. Mega-cities suck balls, and Miami is pretty close to a mega-city, and that makes it all the worse too.

Rep to you both!

And one good thing about this, at least basketball is over!

Early 90s Blue Jays clearly separates Toronto from Cleveland in the levels of accursedness. I know you are talking about BB only, but a town's sports happiness is dependent upon success of any of their franchises (or none). Plus, Toronto is one of the best North American cities. Cleveland is a shithole.

The irony of all of this (of course) is that a town like Cleveland that needs LeBron from a happiness standpoint lost him to the worst sports city in the entire country.

The Heat is a great team and deserving champion, but Miami should not have any professional sports.

It's a whine, we're Chiefs and Royals fans, it's all we have really! Want to talk cursed, we're that shade of gray!

And, as much as he owed Cleveland nothing, nobody outside of Miami owes him anything either, not even respect. We acknowledge his talent, but he has to earn respect - and in that part of his life, he's open to scrutiny when it comes to things like loyalty.

So he can take his rings and shove them up his gargantuan ass!

Funny how he used to be sought after for so many commercial gigs, they seem to have dried-up in favor of others. I'm sure his reply is that he doesn't care (which is obvious), but I'm sure it bothers him that he's gone from a hero to a zero in many categories.

But alas, he has two rings..
