LNBS: A list of players KC should try to trade.

Jamaal Charles - seriously one of my favorite players to ever play for KC, but if we can get as much as a third for him, it might be best to move on. West, Ware and Reaves are a solid trio of RBs. If Charles has value, the Chiefs would be wise to extract it.

Knile Davis - has shown well in PS and is a solid returner that brings value. He would play a role for a lot of teams. He just doesn't have a role on this team that's gonna need to maximize every roster spot and is stacked at RB.

Maybe someone coughs up a 6th for him?

DeAnthony Thomas - brings an element of explosiveness to the field and gives extra value as a special teamer, but this WR group is gonna be a dogfight. Conley looks like he has taken a step forward...Maclin is Maclin. Streater has been good. Wilson has proven the ability to contribute already. Robinson was drafted. Tyreek Hill is gonna play a significant role.

If they can get a draft pick for him, they should.

James Oshaunessy - just an extremely deep TE group and they can't cut Kelce, Harris or Travis...so JO won't make the final 53.

Maybe a late rounder?

Tyler Bray or Aaron Murray - both are intriguing kids, but KC made a statement signing Nick Foles and handling him as they have (all the #2 reps) while also drafting Kevin Hogan. Granted, they weren't counting on Foles becoming avainable to them, but that makes 2 QBs expendable. Hopefully, we can get something for one of them.

Dontari Poe - back problems, not truly dominant. Like Eric Berry, not going to be s good bang for the buck player unless he signs for a team friendly deal and that's not today's NFL. These agents have a stranglehold on these owners with the big name FAs and somebody is going to overpay. This DL is very deep. Williams, Roches, Jones, Howard, Poe, Bailey, King and Roches are all guys that can play. Howard proved last year that he could play the nose effectively...and Jones looks like he could be an immediate difference maker.

If they can get a second rounder for him, I'd do it.

Josh Mauga - He's a solid starter and I know the LBs struggled a bit against LA, but that 5m we would save against the cap the next 2 years combined could go a long way towards continuing to bolster this roster and the younger guys need reps.

I'm sure someone would cough up a late rounder for him.

**** off with Charles.

I think Dat and Davis are gone, as are Murray and Bray.

Disagree on Mauga unless the cap space/ roster spot is an issue.

Also disagree on Poe. I agree that he's not nearly the player that he once looked like he could be. But I don't think they have a better guy to play NT.

I'm of the opinion that the dropoff from Poe to Howard last year wasnt much, if any at all. Even without Poe, this is a good DL. Bailey, Howard and Jones in base defense...Williams, Roches and King in rotation. That's still a nice line.

The franchise tag for DL next year is gonna be close to 15m...he's not worth that.

If we could get a second in exchange for that one season with Poe, I'm taking that. He's good, but he's not good bang for the buck unless he signs a team friendly deal.

Howard looked pretty good at the nose.

Reggie McKenzie was at our game tonight, so he's looking for someone we have.

I would say DAT or a DL.

he's shown he can do it against good competition in the regular season.

Also, Poe hasn't done much, either.

Especially not enough to get franchise tagged after 2016.

15m gets a lot more than just a solid DL.

He had a nice spin move on some RG tonight. Would likely habe pulverized the QB in the regular season.

i think kc knows they wont re-sign poe. he will ask too much with a solid year. but thats a good thing... it means another team is creating cap havoc for their franchise. may as well use him if we got him.

provided jones pans out obviously.

trading charles would be like cutting berry after cancer recovery. like it or not, kc will be charles home till he is cut.

i see west as expendable potentially.

bray is gone, dunno if he is trade-able being oft injured.

DAT, kniles, gone (of course i thought they would be gone before this season started too).

other than that, i dont think you can sacrifice depth?

Knile Davis experience has been weird. At one point he was a healthy scratch, then he gets the biggest play of the franchise in 21 years.

You ride Poe's ass until it's proven he just can't do it anymore. Final year of his deal? Get what you can out of him. He's going to play hard for that big contract. See: Houston
