Name one call KC got away with. I count six that Tenn got away with. (Four offensive PI's on picks, One VERY suspiciuos PI on Patton and the facemask on Lockett at the end).

Blaming the officiating is a lame excuse.
The Chiefs deserved to lose, and they did. Thank Stoyo and Kurt for gift-wrapping this one for Tennessee. ------------------ This is my signature!! There are many like it but this one is mine!! |

Blaming Grbac is an old one. Atleast I'm pointing to an aspect of the game that actually had an affect on the outcome. Go play with Packfan.

How are Stoyo and Kurt NOT directly responsible for this loss?
Go play with Grbac! ------------------ This is my signature!! There are many like it but this one is mine!! |

The coaching staff deserved all the blame. At least the players showd up to play and didn't quit, but that is not enough. Gun does not bring the total package in terms of coaching. And if he tries any lame "we shoed up to play and I tought we outplayed them but just fell short" crap, I am going to go crazy...

No one to blame but 'ourselves'
Poor play calling, poor execution, mental mistakes. It all comes down to coaching & fundamentals. The philosophy/system is flawed to it's core. |

donkhater,
if the Chiefs could've have mustered ONE first down after the fourth down stop, that probably would've been ballgame. But they didn't. Look in the mirror for the reasons why we lost the football game. JM |

The running game has been a joke so far this season, and it's been because of a lack of talent in our "committee".

Cowardly blaming of the officials aside, the things I saw that cost the game are:
1. The head scratching play calling at the goalline. I loved the call to go for it, but on third down, everyone knew TR was going to get it. How many times has he in the past. It's scary how some guy sitting on his couch in Indiana (me) can predict the play calling of this offense. Elvis successfully bootleged a couple of times today. Play action on first or second down would've scored easily. I equate it to Sean on Survivor saying he's voting in alphebetical order. EVERYONE knew what the four calls would be!!! 2. Donnie Edwards as a down rusher on the last drive. KC was gettin pretty good pressure with the four down lineman up to that point. Why change then? 3. They set this team up perfectly for play-action early on and didn't take advantage of it. No wonder we only rushed for 66 yards. Raye didn't 'throw the ball for 500 yards if they stack 8 guys in the box'. What a joke. |
