I'm cringing at the thought, too, Brock. Hasty is easily one of my favorite players on this team. I wouldn't blame him at all for wanting to leave. This team has no direction, and you can just look at their leader for that. Gunther's made an *** out of himself all year in interviews and he's finally getting called on it. Somehow, I suspect, Carl will find a way to retain this poor excuse for an NFL HC.

Few Chief players have earned my respect the way Hasty, Anders, and Grunny have. They are without a doubt some of my favorite Chiefs ever. If these guys think there is a problem than there is one without a doubt. Situations like this exsist for sometime before they get out to the media. If Gun had half the pride and honor he preaches about he'd quit.

This happened three days before the Donx game...Why did the players play their best football of the year?

Like many other Chief fans, I thought Gun might make a good head coach. I can now admit that I was wrong.
Hearing these quotes from ALL of the teams veteran leadership (Hasty, Grunny, Elvis, Anders), tells me that it's time to cut our losses and bring in a new staff. Gun's nervous, out of control style is sending us on a Bengals-like tailspin, I fear. |
