Does anyone else remember the Tynes interview before this season when Tynes was saying something like, "They used to want me to kick directional kicks, which hurt my distance. If they turn me loose I should really be able to get lots of touchbacks."

Or something like that. I didn't see many touchbacks, but I sure saw a lot against us...or ones that should have been touchbacks...which brings up Dante...

I can't even go there. I'm already upset.

Well, he did improve his distance slightly by dumping the directional kicking. But only slightly. Personally I think our coverage teams are the biggest weakness, not Tynes.

Question: So, if I wanted to try out to be a place kicker for the NFL, How would I go about it?
(note: I have never played football, not even in pop warner or anything, but I do feel like I have a wicked drumstick, can boot it pretty damn far and straight in a pickup game. I was a semi-pro cyclist for years.)

I'd probably go out on a HS field first and practice kicking for a month. But I don't know of another way.
