Against the Cowboys, they were terrible. Against the Ravens, Giants, Raiders, and Jaguars, they were bad. Against the Eagles and Colts, I felt they were ok. The difference was the offense having 7 drives in a row for a total of 23 yards and a safety.

Completely irrelevant. If Denver ended up winning that wouldn't have changed that the defense sucked and does suck. Teams aren't going to go 50 yards or more for a score on every drive.

If you consider OK to be giving up 39 points, then you probably aren't capable of admitting the defense sucks.

Weird. I heard completely different things when Cassel was in KC.

Somehow the Chiefs have been able to hold their opponents to field goals when they turn the ball over in their own territory.

In 2012, maybe. It was hard for me to admit as well that all this talent we had on defense was turning them into a piss poor unit, but it really was scheme and coaching that got us in the end.

People don't remember the missed tackles, bad angles, broken coverages, dumb penalties, lack of blitzes, lack of turnovers, and poorly trained and prepared players from poor coaches.

Our defense sucked in 2012 for THOSE reasons.

2011 as well. I remember looking up who had more 3 and outs, the Tebow led Broncos or the Cassel led Chiefs, in the middle of a comparison of defenses.

Who gave up more 10+ yard plays on Sunday, Chiefs or Broncos? Chiefs.

Who held their opponent to more negative yardage plays? Broncos.

Who allowed more yards per play? Chiefs.

Who forced more punts? Broncos.
