Thats my biggest problem with Hogan. He's essentially been a game manager at the collegiate level. And he's played behind a great offensive line his entire career. He's been very good at that though.

He's got the tools for sure, but he just isn't as battle tested as some of the other guys. He isn't asked to do as much, and he doesn't face nearly as much pressure from the pass rush. He could develop into a killer QB at the next level, but I don't feel he's shown enough to warrant being taken in the early first.

I agree. He's a 2/3 guy, especially if some of the underclassmen declare.

But he's got the tools and upside is there based on just the arm alone.

I've been trying to find a current NFL comparison and I'm not coming up with anything. Maybe Rothlisberger would be the closest.
