It never was the strongest and now he's old and worn out his arm.

It seems to me like he is shot-putting the throws. It really seems like it is an effort for him to throw the ball.

This is simple, for Trent Green to throw good balls down the field. He has to throw from his legs because his arm isn't that strong. So he has to set up perfectly with his footwork and timing to make that throw. Our line isn't as good as it has been in the past thus he isn't capable of having the footwork he needs to make those throws.

This thread is garbage. Green drilled a TD pass to Tony Gonzalez against SD two weeks ago. His arm is fine.
Most QB's arms are going to look weak when they're forced to throw off their back foot.

Quarterbacks depend on footwork to be good ... the weaker the arm, the more a QB counts on footwork.
Green has very average arm so when he doesn't get good protection his footwork suffers and his arm looks like crap.

No protection and no scramble = bad weak passes

Good, I was hoping we'd get another Trent Green thread in before the night was over...

It's not garbage...even in Week 1 his arm didn't look strong. He just doesn't have the zip on balls over 20 yards in length that he used to, even when the offensive line gives him time to throw (rare).

Sorry, that's bullshit.
The 33 yard throw he made to Gonzalez last week was as hardball as he's ever thrown.

That was a good throw but that was just one of a few..hey I like Green, I just think his arm has been soft this year. The Chiefs recievers (inc. Gonzo) have dropped 20 passes this year, highest in the league. His placement has been off...everything has been off.

The planet is going to be hilarious if Trent throws for 300 yards and four TDs next week.
