Why the aversion to drafting a young QB?
We have a boatload of picks, two old QBs, no young QB in the pipeline....yet we still won't draft a QB in the middle rounds. You've got other teams taking young QBs as their 4th QB....what gives? It's the most important position on the field.

I think the 5th would have been perfect. We've still got the 6th and 7th though. I'd like to see us pick a guy we can send overseas and let him come along slowly...

The guy left that I'd like to see us pick is Derek Anderson from Oregon St. Inconsistent, but has a big arm.

It is a huge need, really. Besides, drafting young QBs isn't about a "need" because they're probably not going to play that first year anyway. However, wouldn't it make sense to bring a guy in when your top 2 QBs are in their mid 30s?

I am have no problem with always getting a proven veteran. I have no problem with never having a QBOTF. Either way I just want a good QB if the Chiefs drafted him or not.

Just my opinion.
