These are the team I see possibly using a high draft pick on a QB
Cleveland Browns -Weeden - But I don't see them giving up on Weeden after only 1 season. I think people have realised he has potential. Besides they might just stick with a QB for over a year for a change. Jacksonville Jaguars - Gabbert - Don't see them giving up on him, the rest of the team isn't great either. New York Jets -Sanchez,Tebow - Don't think they'll have a record bad enough. They could trade up I guess but once again, I dont see it happening. Oakland Raiders -Palmer - He's had an OK season so far, and they spent a A LOT to get him they might feel obliged to stick with him for an extra year (even if he doesn't perform great). The only problem here is that I can see them with a horrible end of season record, which could encourage them to take a QB that they think they can't pass up on. I don't see the Cowboys really moving from Romo. I know he's hot and cold, but the dude will win them enough games to move them outta the race.

I think anyone is game but the Saints, Steelers, Packers, Patriots and Giants. There is no such thing as patient in this league with except for the Chiefs.

The Chiefs are still waiting for their last 1st round QB to come around.

The Colts went thru a 2 win season last year, look at them now.
Just dig in and find some other hobbies for another 2 and a half months. |

I've become a WV college football fan for the year to pass the time. I'll watch the Chiefs, but thats about the end of it for me this year.

Right now I see 3 teams that will definitely be QB shopping: Kansas City, Buffalo and Arizona
Weeden was a bad investment, but he is improving. Also, any QB is going to look like ****ing shit when they have no experience and no go-to receiver. They also run a ****ing reeruned offensive scheme. It's hard to read what the Browns would do, but they should go another direction unless they land the #1 pick and can't find a suitable trade partner. Gene Smith won't give up on Gabbert, so the only shot Jacksonville has at a QB will be to clean house. If Ryan and Tannebaum survive this season, they'll look for a veteran option instead of the draft. A rookie QB isn't going to save their jobs. Oakland is probably 50/50 shot on taking a QB. Palmer playing decent gives them flexibility to start off in another direction though. I think Oakland plays better down the stretch and will be out of that QB contention. The Eagles seem high on Foles. Tampa Bay will definitely be browsing for a QB somewhere. Freeman just looks bad. |

If they are, so what? They're 4-1 and not in our way.
