Starting quarterback: Cassel or Croyle?

Unfortunately, this question is the talk of the week.

Croyle had a 2 touchdown, 0 interception performance against the Ravens in a 38-24 loss. He led Kansas City to 11 first downs and 188 total yards.

Cassel had a 1 touchdown, 2 interception performance against the Raiders in a 13-10 loss. He led Kansas City to 25 first downs and 409 total yards.

A....*ahem*......"quarterback controversy". Just what we needed, right? So, let's go ahead and amuse ourselves.....Cassel or Croyle? Here. We. Go.......

Hate the player, hate the trade, same diff.

Cassel was discounted as bad as soon as he got here.

HUGE difference there.

I hated the trade....but I don't hate Matt Cassel. I hated the trade at the time because it ****ed over our draft worth before we even had a shot to try and trade down.

I don't hate Matt Cassel. I'd love to see him succeed as a Chief and take us to many Superbowls. I was cheering when he ran for the 1st down...got up and threw up the 1st down sign. Just because I hated the trade....doesn't mean I hate the player.

This.

If you want "hate", let me tell you about how we gave him $60M when we already owned his rights and could have used the year to evaluate himbeing worth that kind of investment.

Like Pestilence said, I'm rooting for the guy, but at the same time, I don't think he'll end up being a true franchise QB.

I thought there would be a few more than 9 out of 128 voting for Croyle.

Cassel is the better player, despite what happened last week. He made some mistakes, no question about it. But we can't hand the reigns off to Croyle. Do you gentlemen not remember him getting hurt all the time?

I don't hate Cassel I just would have rather used the draft to get our QB of the future.I'm fine with waiting a year or so like we did with Trent, and then seeing where he is and where we are as a team.

Cassel.

He gets the pay, he has to play. Now if he would just perform at a level that is equal to the paycheck ...

Croyle has had too many injuries. I think he's improving and I think he's developing into a great backup.

Let Cassel have the ball and see if he can make salad out of the chickenshit around him.
