Yep, I was lifting for a while until I ran out of money. I haven't started up again, I've just been doing pushups and situps.

I'm realizing I'm at the point where I need to start doing a lot of weight lifting to get this last 30 lbs or so off.

Couldn't agree more, although most people would say cardio but that is not correct. Weight lifting with help you transform your body way beyond cardio would at this point. You are probably close to the point where changing your body composition is more important than the scale weight. The scale might not drop a ton if you add some serious weight training but only because you will be adding muscle.

Good luck!

Has more to do with your diet than anything.

Yeah I've been doing Cardio the whole time, it doesn't effect my weight loss at all.

Edit: ok, it doesn't effect it very much. Maybe a little, but I've gone weeks without doing cardio sometimes and I still lose the same.

I don't really think the BMI is a great indicator of health, but I'm really close to no longer being considered obese by the BMI charts.

Ok... so the worst part of this diet is that I haven't been able to take a satisfying shit in a week.
