Yeah, I can't remember how the book ended, but I remember it being different. I remember that in the miniseries, the first half was intense and awesome. Then the second half was meh and the ending was just brutal. Might pick this up just to remind myself of the ending. But still... the scenes with the little kid, the sailboat, and the bleeding picture... when I was a kid, it just gave me chills.
