Final roster notable cuts thread
I didn't see a thread for this. I figured better to have one repository thread so here it is. Not really anyone I've seen yet that could help the Chiefs. The Browns cut Burleson but he's been hurt all preseason and likely done. I think it's already been mentioned elsewhere, but I'll include it here anyway, that the Eagles cut Henry Josey. Notable former Chiefs are Ricki Stanzi cut by the Jags and Tony Moaeki placed on (gasp) IR by the Bills.

Winston is in the final year of his career, he has NO upside. He is patchwork to fill a hole. I would hope we could do better.

The only thing he could elude was a tackle while diving at peoples ankles and rolling for a few extra yards.

As for a 174lb tailback, that really isn't the issue of him being an RB here. He's not going to get a "lot" of carries because he's a "wrinkle" guy, but until they improve his hands, he's not going to be classified as receiver. There's a reason he worked mainly with the RB's this year in camp. While he is "smaller" his body type and build are a lot more like a RB than McCluster was.

The Texans knew what they were doing when they cut Winston in 2012.

Cutting Van Dyke was a pretty dumb move. Had he not been injured in TC I think he woulda made it.
