And if that's true, with Vick and everything, they won't take Smith.

I just don't see Foles, Dixon or Vick being a reason for them not to take Geno, when they can get out from under both of them pretty easily.

Of course Geno has to be available and Kelly would have to like him enough to do that.

With all the stats about how high QB picks usually go to teams that have no one in the way, you're right, Kelly would have to really love Smith to scrap the other QBs that it seems they want to go with him.

I'm staying with the idea that if the Chiefs pass, Smith falls to the Cards.

When a pocket quarterback has the wheels to knife the defense for chunks of yards when they go to man coverage, it's a weapon you have to utilize.

It keeps the defense honest and forces them to count for you and that makes a receiver come open or for the defense to not e able to use many double teams. That's music to the ears of Dwayne Bowe and others...especially when they have to respect Jamaal Charles back there, too.

McNabb was a pocket guy and he still made teams pay with his legs and moved the chains.

I'm starting to accept that the Jags might be stuck with taking Geno.

But seriously I'm guessing a high 4.6 low 4.7

If the Eagles did take Smith, I'd call them right after the pick an say, forget a 3rd or4th, we'll give you a 5th for Foles. Take it or leave it, he's clearly not in your plans.

So, Geno is good enough for the Eagles top 5, but not for us at 1, AND we get the leftover QB they don't want...THE CHIEFWAY!!!

Most people aren't gonna stop being fans over a draft pick.

But if Reid and Dorsey are ***** and Haley part 2, and this franchise doesn't get back to winning ways...you might see a whole lot of apathy about the Chiefs.

If they're here for 4 years and we don't have a winning season....that would be 10 years with one winning season.

That's rough.

And that point the players fans like right now are gonna be all but gone.

The next two drafts are absolutely critical for this team.

Well said. Apathy is a great word. Even during past yrs of struggle and heartbreak I was there emotionally and mentally for them. They took that away. I have been near the I don't care line. SOC was the last stand. If this somehow turns into the past 4 yrs all over again I don't know how icould stay in it emotionally.

If ***** and cassel both headline 2013 I wouldn't even be mad. I would just be at the point of "well this team doesn't care, how can I?" The moves changed that, but I am not in the mood tohave to root for a retread qb and pretend it has a decent chance of working.

I haven't gone to a game in two years and I feel GOOD about it.

That's not good for Clark.

Also, I spent countless hours researching Scott Pioli and Matt Cassel and proving what ****ups they were so everyone knew about it. **** doing that again.
